Sephora Sale: What’s In My Cart?

04.21.20

Alright guys. The bi-annual Sephora Sale is HERE!! And I am in need of some serious skincare products and makeup. I am a VIB member so the sale for me begins tomorrow. However, if you’re Rouge or Insider, here are the full dates:

        • Rouge: 20% off (4/17 – 5/1)
        • VIB: 15% off (4/21 – 4/29)
        • Insider: 10% off (4/23 – 4/27)

I’ve got a pretty solid skincare routine nailed down but I am always wanting to try new things to see what works best with my skin. Plus, it’s just fun to do!

In regards to makeup, I’m not totally loving some of the things I am using at the moment so I want to test out a new foundation, highlighter and eye shadows. And then I ran out of my eyeliner (Kat Von D Tattoo Line is my JAM), blush and I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect lip color!

I don’t have a money tree in the backyard so unfortunately I am not purchasing everything listed in this blog post. Because we are in quarantine, I am going to focus on skincare, however, if I were to get makeup, these are the products I would absolutely buy. I’ll be getting these on my next Sephora haul!

Here is what’s in my shopping cart for the Sephora sale!

SKINCARE

LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask: OMG this is my go to. I’m almost out and if I can’t let myself go a day without this in my life. I honestly use it during the day as well.

YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser: Trying out a new cleanser is another product I’ve wanted to switch up. I was previously using Dermalogica Gel Cleanser, which is great, but I’ve heard great things about this hot and new up and coming brand!

DR. DENNIS GROSS SKINCARE Ferulic Acid + Retinol Brightening Solution: I just hear over and over that Dr. DG is the God of Sephora brands so I’m sold!
OLEHENRIKSEN Goodnight Glow Retin-ALT Sleeping Crème: I really like this brand and now that I’m finally not pregnant or breastfeeding I’m way overdue for a retinol. This is a retinol alternative but I figured it’s the perfect product to ease into!
SUMMER FRIDAYS CC Me Vitamin C Serum: The Vitamin C serum I am using now is Drunk Elephant. I love it but since I’m low, I figured I’d give another a try. **This is sold out at the moment ugh**

GLAMGLOW BRIGHTEYES™ Illuminating Anti-Fatigue Eye Cream: Need to add an eye cream into my skincare routine, especially now that I no longer have lash extensions so I don’t have to be so worrysome about my products breaking down the glue on the lashes.

GLAMGLOW GLOWSTARTER™ Mega Illuminating Moisturizer: I’m needing a new moisturizer and this one just looks so fun! This brand is pretty popular and gets good reviews too.

SUMMER FRIDAYS R + R Mask: I love the Jet Lag mask and figured it’s time to try another one!

CAUDALIE Vinoperfect Anti Dark Spot Serum: I am literally in World War III with my dark spots so I mean, this is just another thing to try to obliterate these f**kers.

Ole Henriksen Dark Spot Toner: I currently use this and love it! I’m low so I’m just reupping!

PETER THOMAS ROTH 24K Gold Mask Pure Luxury Lift & Firm Mask: This mask is soooo thick and juicy. I love it! This mask is meant to lift and firm. Yes please.

MAKEUP

KVD VEGAN BEAUTY Tattoo Eyeliner: I LOVE this liner. It’s soooo sharp and easy to apply. I used to always be that girl who would pull her eye back to apply eyeline, which I know isn’t what you’re supposed to do. This is the first product I’ve been able to use, and use well, without having to pull my eye! HIghly recommend. Plus all KVD products are vegan. Woop.

SUPERGOOP! Invincible Setting Powder SPF 45: I was in Cabo and my face was feeling like my SPF was wearing off but I had makeup on and felt like I was in a bind between putting sunscreen over my makeup or not putting it on at all and just hiding under an umbrella. I’m sorry but it’s just not smart to not reapply. My friend Jen suddenly whipped out this little babe and told me to put it on my face! It’s a translucent powder with SPF 45. What. A. Win. I am obsessed and knew I had to get it asap. So here we are.

CHARLOTTE TILBURY Airbrush Flawless Longwear Foundation: I am currently using Anastasia and I love it but I just need more coverage. This Charlotte Tilbury foundation is definitely more full coverage, which is so necessary for my melasma.

PATRICK TA Precision Lip Crayon – She’s Humble: I am dying to use products from Patrick Ta’s line. It all just seems so crisp and sharp. I have no idea what those words really mean in regards to makeup but I just feel like that’s how I want to describe them. Haha. This is the liner I would use with the Créme below.

PATRICK TA Silky Lip Crème – She’s Unapologetic: Such a pretty nude color, but still a little pink!

HUDA BEAUTY Nude Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette: This palette looks really pretty and it’s a bit more affordable than Too Faced or NAKED.

PATRICK TA Velvet Blush – She’s Passionate: I am in desperate need of a new blush. You guys are going to die when I tell you this… I have had the SAME MAC blush since high school. As in, literally the same product. Like, the same unit. Hahahaha. I am dying this is so bad but there was long stint where I didn’t even wear blush so it didn’t get use and just lived in the bottom of my makeup bag for years. I can’t believe I disclosed this on the Internet.

BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter: This highlighter has great reviews and it looks so pretty. I love the Champagne Pop color so I am super excited to eventualy buy this and try it out.

HAIR

DAE Shampoo and Conditioner: As a new resident of AZ, I have to support Amber Fillerup! It’s always really good to switch up the brands you use for your shampoo and conditioner so your hair doesn’t get too used to same ingredients. Plus this packaging is just too cute to pass up!
